Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: June 1, 2026 · academy.tensevensecurity.com

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of TenSeven Training Academy at https://academy.tensevensecurity.com (the "Site"), operated by TenSeven LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), including the purchase and delivery of guard certification and training courses, both in person and online. By accessing the Site, creating an account, or reserving a seat, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a legally binding contract to use the Site. By using the Site, you represent that you meet these requirements and that all information you provide is accurate and current. Certain courses require that you separately satisfy state eligibility, background-check, and licensing prerequisites.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Courses, Reservations, and Certification

TenSeven Training Academy offers multiple guard certification and training courses, delivered in person, through live online sessions, or as a combination. By reserving a seat or enrolling, you agree that:

  • A reservation is confirmed only upon successful payment through Stripe.
  • Seats are limited and reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Course schedules, instructors, locations, and content may change; we will make reasonable efforts to notify you.
  • Completion of a course does not guarantee issuance of any state license, certification, or guard card. Licensing and certification are determined solely by the applicable governing authority (for example, the relevant state licensing board).
  • You are responsible for meeting all eligibility, background-check, fingerprinting, and regulatory requirements for any certification or license you pursue. Such requirements are administered by the governing authority, not by TenSeven Training Academy.

4. Attendance and Completion

Many courses require full attendance and a passing result to receive a certificate of completion. You acknowledge that:

  • Full attendance for the entire scheduled course is required to qualify for a certificate unless a specific course states otherwise.
  • Where a course includes an assessment, you must achieve a passing result to receive a certificate.
  • If you fail to attend in full, fail a required assessment, or are removed from a course for cause, you are not entitled to a refund and may be required to re-enroll and pay again to complete the course.
  • Certificates reflect course completion only and do not constitute a state license.

5. Payments

All fees are stated at checkout and processed by Stripe. You authorize us, through Stripe, to charge your selected payment method for the total amount, including applicable taxes. All payments are in U.S. dollars. By submitting payment information, you represent that you are authorized to use the payment method.

6. No Refunds; Rescheduling

All course fees are non-refundable. In place of refunds, we offer rescheduling, subject to the following:

  • You may reschedule your enrollment to a future course at any time before your originally scheduled course start date, subject to seat availability.
  • Rescheduling must be requested through your account or by emailing training@tensevensecurity.com before the course start time.
  • Once a course has started, fees are forfeited and no reschedule or refund is available, except where required by law.
  • If we cancel or reschedule a course, you will be offered a seat in a comparable course or, at our discretion, a refund.
  • Failure to attend (no-show) without rescheduling before the start time results in forfeiture of all fees paid.

7. Intellectual Property

All course materials, content, text, graphics, logos, and software on the Site are owned by or licensed to TenSeven LLC and are protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use course materials for your own personal, non-commercial training. You may not copy, distribute, resell, record, or create derivative works from any materials, including live or recorded sessions, without our written permission.

8. Code of Conduct

To maintain a safe and professional training environment, you agree that, during any in-person or online session, you will:

  • Follow all instructions given by instructors and staff.
  • Treat instructors, staff, and other participants with respect and refrain from harassment, threats, or disruptive behavior.
  • Not attend any session while impaired by alcohol or unlawful drugs.
  • Comply with all facility, venue, and platform rules.
  • Not record, photograph, or stream any session without our written permission.

We reserve the right to remove or dismiss any participant who violates this Code of Conduct or who poses a safety risk, without refund. Dismissal for cause forfeits all fees paid.

9. Firearms and Range Safety

Certain courses involve firearms, live-fire range exercises, or other physical activities that carry inherent risks of injury or death. For any such course, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • You must strictly follow all firearm-handling and range-safety rules and all instructions from range safety officers and instructors at all times.
  • You must meet all legal requirements to possess and handle a firearm, and you are solely responsible for confirming your legal eligibility.
  • Any unsafe handling of a firearm or violation of range rules will result in immediate removal from the course without refund.
  • You voluntarily assume all risks inherent in firearms and range training, and you may be required to sign a separate liability waiver and assumption-of-risk agreement before participating.
  • We reserve the right to refuse or remove any participant from firearms or range activities for safety reasons in our sole discretion.

10. Acceptable Use of the Site

You agree not to:

  • Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
  • Share account access or distribute course materials to non-enrolled persons.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Site, its security, or its servers.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Site or other users' accounts.
  • Use automated means to access or scrape the Site.

11. Marketing Communications

If you opt in, we may send you newsletters and promotional emails. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in those emails. Transactional messages relating to your account, payments, and courses are not promotional and may still be sent.

12. SMS and Text Messaging

By providing your mobile phone number and opting in, you consent to receive text (SMS/MMS) messages from TenSeven Training Academy related to your account and courses, including:

13. Disclaimers

The Site and all courses and materials are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any certification or training will result in licensure, certification, or employment.

14. Assumption of Risk

You understand that in-person training, including any physical, defensive-tactics, or firearms components, involves inherent risks. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you voluntarily assume all such risks. This provision supplements, and does not replace, any separate waiver you may be required to sign for specific courses.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TenSeven LLC and its officers, employees, instructors, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the Site or courses. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the course giving rise to the claim.

16. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TenSeven LLC from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Site, your participation in any course, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

17. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site or your account at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful. Upon termination, your right to use the Site ceases immediately.

18. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Tulsa County, Oklahoma, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

19. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

20. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes are effective upon posting to the Site with a revised Effective Date. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
